Volunteer Comments
"I got the chance to work with a few other members of the Marketing team, which was exciting. A way to support a non-profit, gain new skills and strengthen current skills, and be a part of a great team. They were great. I had great experience overall!" - Shivali V.
"I feel so grateful to have been a part of the HR team with Dalamu as my mentor! The way that Dalamu trained me was really helpful and guided, I felt so comfortable and capable throughout the whole experience because of that. I would describe it as very chill and supported. If I ever felt confused about a process my supervisor was there to help solve the problem or provide me with guidance. I realized through volunteering here that I want to continue to pursue HR/recruiting." - Jasmine M.
"Everyone I have worked with has been personable, genuine, and kind. I greatly appreciate that!"
"Thank you for all that you do!"
"I think the experience so far has been satisfactory, and I have felt welcome since the beginning."
"It has been enjoyable, and I've learned a lot of valuable lessons that I'll carry into my future endeavors. However, there's room for improvement, and I hope new interns/volunteers find their values from working at I'RAISE." - Van L.
"The people were kind and inviting." - Tasneem H.
