Robert “Bob” Vrooman brings decades of experience in educational and academic publishing, having served in leadership roles across New York, California, and the Washington, D.C. region. A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Bob began his journey in education after attending Washington & Lee University, later building a diverse career spanning business development, editorial leadership, and executive management.
Throughout his professional life, Bob has been driven by a strong passion for education and a commitment to mentoring emerging professionals. His ability to develop talent, cultivate collaborative teams, and strengthen organizational vision has shaped his reputation as a thoughtful and mission-centered leader.
Bob is proud to join the I’RAISE Girls & Boys International Board of Directors, where he looks forward to supporting the organization’s continued growth and helping expand critical programs that uplift children and families of all backgrounds.
Outside of his professional work, Bob is a lifelong musician who enjoys playing guitar, singing, and teaching himself piano. He is the father of three adult children and is happily engaged, with plans to marry in early 2026.
