I’m currently a college graduate. Can I still be considered for a jop opportunity at I'RAISE?
On a limited basis. Some of our job positions such as Afterschool Group Teacher, or Gen-Z Instructors are open to current and recent college graduate. Please review our job position and review the job qualification / requirement

Yes, we require our job applicants to provide three professional or academic references: Full Name, Job Title, Company, Relationship to you, Email Address (required), Phone Number
Are there background check or background clearance required to be an employee at I'RAISE?
Yes, based on the job positions you are applying for. Most of our school job positions require you to complete Department of Education (DOE) background clearances, as well as the Office of Family and Children Services (OCFS) comprehensive background clearance. The background check costs are not covered by I'RAISE, and selected job candidates have to pay it by themselves
The DOE background clearance eligbility status remains the same for 3 to 4 years in their clearance system (PETS). However, this information can only be determined by entering your last name and social security number in the PETS system. This process is done if you are selected for the job
An employment offer at I'RAISE is contingent upon successful background clearances completion and eligibility status. Ineligible background clearances will result in rescinded employment offer, which will be promptly communicated to the job applicant
Does I'RAISE cover, reimburse or refund the background clearance / fingerprint cost?
The background check costs are not covered nor reimbursed or refunded by I'RAISE, and selected job candidates have to pay for the associated costs by themselves
Does I'RAISE do 90 day introductory / probationary period for a new hire?
Yes, I'RAISE does 90-day introductory period for new hires. During this time while new hires are evaluating the new workplace, their supervisor will be evaluating the new hires, their work performance, values, culture and work ethic
What happens after the 90-day introductory / probationary period is over for a new hire?
New hire's employee benefits and respective company devices/resources at I'RAISE will be activated / provided once their 90-day introductory / probationary period is over
What types of benefits does I'RAISE provide, and what benefits do you currently do not have?
I'RAISE provides a generous paid time off benefits to our full-time and eligible part-time employees. Full-time employees receive 10 day vacation (which increases between 2 to 4 years), 6 personal days, 7 sick days, holidays, mental health day off per month, parental day off. Part-time employees receive half off the paid-time off benefits. Eligible part-time employees are employees who work 20 or more hours per week
Other benefits include: 403b retirement plan benefit, Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness, Professional Development Reimbursement, Continuing Education (specially for social workers), Employee Assistance for Health Insurance Process, Letter of Recommendation / Referral for Graduate Program, Employee Discounts Program, etc
Currently we do not provide Health Insurance Benefits due to company's small size. However, Health Insurance will be introduced next year (2025)

What are some reasons why an applicant may get rejected for a job position at I'RAISE?
Not meeting the job qualifications and requirements
Job position no longer being available
Due to lack of response and communications provided to the HR Team or the hiring manager
Not coming prepared to the interview OR not providing relevant answers to the interview questions
Being rude/unprofessional to the interviewer or hiring manager. Respect and professionalism are crucial and goes both-ways
What is the Job Application and Selection Process at I'RAISE?

Job Application: Fill out the Job Application Form which contains written interview questions. Your answers and application materials will be used for interview selection

Interview 1: If your application is selected, you will have a virtual interview with our HR Team

Interview 2: If you are recommended for final interview round, you will have a virtual interview with the Job Supervisor

Job Selection: If we are moving forward with you for the job position, our HR Team will begin reference check process and require you to complete background clearance processes

Job Offer Letter: If the reference checking process and background clearances are successfully completed, you will receive an official welcome email with an Employment Offer Letter

Onboarding Process: If you accept the Job Offer Letter, our HR team will support you with the onboarding process to ensure you have a smooth, comfortable onboarding process with I'RAISE and your new job position
