PART-TIME ENTREPRENEURSHIP INSTRUCTOR (hiring immediately!)
Join I'RAISE Gen-Z (College/Career Pathway) Program at Mott Hall High School in the Bronx, New York! We are hiring immediately with a start date of either Tuesday, September 3rd or September 9th.
I'RAISE is a small non-profit organization in New York City. We are looking for a fabulous and passionate part-time Entrepreneurship Instructor to create a positive meaningful experience for our high school students in our Gen-Z program.

Work Location: Mott Hall High School, Bronx, New York
Work Schedule: Must be available in person: Wednesday and Thursday 11 am to 4:30 pm ET
Part-Time Pay:
Bachelor's Degree $21 - $24 per hour
Master's Degree: $25 - $28 per hour
Doctoral Degree: $29 - $35 per hour
Benefits: Sick time off (hours accrual), Holidays

Entrepreneurship Instructor's Job Functions:
Develop curriculum materials and specific lesson plans that cover an overview of business, finances, and entrepreneurship.
Utilize various curriculum resources to teach students on practice of business and entrepreneurship.
Interact with students on a personal level and understand their learning capabilities.
Prepare teaching schedules, coursework, projects, and homework for students and share it with the supervisor.
Introduce learning platforms like workshops and conferences to students for their professional development.
Adopt interactive teaching techniques to help students understand the course.
Observe and evaluate the progress of the students and report it to the supervisor.
Meet with parents/guardians to discuss the student’s progress.
Teach 9th to 10th graders, 25 students per classroom
Attend departmental, interdepartmental, professional, and community-based meetings as required.
Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Entrepreneurship, or relevant field. Master's Degree preferred.
Must already have completed the NYC DOE Background Clearance
1 - 2 Year Teaching experience preferred; volunteer experience considered
1 - 2 Year Professional experience starting, launching, growing and scaling ones own business or company

Physical and or mental requirement: Possess social perceptiveness. Ability to understand the importance of discretion and confidentiality. Bending, crawling, stooping, standing, vision, lifting, and walking. Maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with visitors/stakeholders, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota. Occasionally ascend and descend stairs.
Technology requirement: Comfortable communicating via email and phone, proficient in Microsoft-suite and Google Workspace (G-suite). This job may require the use of a laptop or computer and phone.
