  • Location: Remote

  • Hours: 15 to 18 hours per week

**This is an unpaid internship. The Internship qualifies for Academic or Fieldwork Credit. Please speak with your college professor or advisor.**

Our Marketing Department is seeking Public Relations Interns! You will work on a variety of projects, such as:

  • Coordinate guests and activities for the ATL Rise Podcast show.

  • Develop innovative strategies to recruit podcast guests - including local leaders and individuals making significant contributions to the local Atlanta community.

  • Research potential podcast shows for the CEO to be hosted and spotlighted on.

  • Assist to secure and recruit guest speakers.

  • Manage calendars (editorial, press conferences, events, etc.) and media lists.

  • Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions.

  • Conduct research to support PR planning.

  • Draft and distribute content such as emails to guests before and after shows.

  • Edit videos and presentations as assigned.

  • Assist in tracking media coverage or PR metrics (e.g., web analytics).

  • Develop ways to streamline communication and plan execution.

  • Undertake general administrative and clerical duties.

  • PR in-person content making during our company events (NYC event location and times will be shared) OR (Atlanta, GA event location and times will be shared)


  • Candidates should be enrolled in a degree program in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential as Interns will often need to draft press releases, create compelling content, and effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

  • Must have familiarity with or knowledge of media relations practices, including understanding how to create and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
