I'RAISE Studies Mental Health Impacts of Pandemic and Racial Injustice on Teens

Updated: Jun 9, 2021

How are teens doing amidst this pandemic and social and civil unrest?

We are conducting surveys to study the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and racial injustice on teens' mental health. Your child's participation in this research study will allow I'RAISE to understand the effects of COVID-19 and racial injustice on youth and adolescents who live in New York City and determine measures that can be adopted by stakeholders to manage or prevent the occurrence of mental health illnesses on adolescents during the pandemic.

Our researchers presented the findings from our Racial Injustice Adolescent Survey. Watch now.

We are looking for 200 participants for our COVID-19 Psychological Impact Adolescent Survey to determine the impact of COVID-19 on teens' mental health. To participate, you must be between ages 12 and 19. Parents of those between ages 12 and 17 must provide consent in order for their child to participate. Those ages 18 or 19 do not require parental consent.

Participants who complete the survey can choose from compensation options, including a gift card or a 2-hour session with professionals.

We are looking for new participants. If you have already signed up or participated, please do not do so again. Click the link or image below or scan the QR code to sign up to participate in our research survey. Questions? Contact us here.
