Black History Month

Black History Panel led by Black Males -  Lifting Our Voice. Rewriting Our Story.

Oftentimes, the stories of minorities are told from the perspective of someone else and we want to retell our stories together. Every Thursday in February, we will host four online events, including screenings of Women of the Movement (the Emmett Till story) and a Black male-led Panel Discussion to decode stereotypes.

Screenings of Women of the Movement - February 3, 10, 17 at 6:30pm. Weekly show screenings leading up to a powerful panel discussion that creates space for us to lift our voices and rewrite our story.

Black History Panel led by Black Males: Our History, Our Voice, Our Time - February 24 at 7:00pm - We will decode the historical and present violent attack on the Black male in American society, retell the Black male story from the right eyes, and reclaim the Black male voice.
