Shanequa E. Moore is the CEO and Founder of the I'RAISE Girls & Boys International Corporation, launched in 2013 in Bronx, NY, with a mission to combat the poor outcomes in youth of color and to activate youth to the highest standard of living educationally, financially, and psychologically. 

Shanequa E. Moore started her career working with children and youth at the age of 14 during her summer youth employment as a Case Manager Assistant at the Family Support Systems.  It was there that Ms. Moore developed her strong passion and zeal for working with children and youth in underprivileged communities.  

Ms. Moore pursued after her passion and zeal for helping vulnerable youth during both her studies and volunteer work in undergraduate school at Nyack College. Ms. Moore, in her freshman year at Nyack College, traveled overseas to South Africa for several weeks where she provided emotional mental and spiritual support to orphan and homeless children and teens.  Ms. Moore has also traveled to other countries including South East Asia, Guatemala and Honduras, mentoring and providing support to homeless and orphaned youth and families


Ms. Moore is a graduate of Nyack College, in Nyack, NY, where she received her Bachelor degree in Psychology in 2008, graduating Magna Cum Laude and held several leadership positions including Nyack Gospel Choir, cheerleading Team, Missions Team, and Cross Country Team.  Ms. Moore earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work and minor in International Policy in 2010 at Columbia University School of Social Work where she held several leadership positions with the Black Caucus and as Student Leader. She is Licensed Master Social Worker, 2013. 

Ms. Moore has dedicated over 10 years of excellent service and commitment to community based agencies, churches, faith-based organizations and government organizations.  Ms. Moore worked closely with the Executive Director, Mary Pender Greene of the Jewish Board of Children & Family Services to help expand the worldwide “Undoing Organizational Racism" initiative. Additionally, in her role as a Graduate intern at the Council of Family and Child Caring Agencies, Ms. Moore developed the first cost benefit analysis on the NYC removal of the Supervised Independent Living Program for Adolescents in Foster Care, 2012. 

More recently, Ms. Moore as CEO & Founder through her nonprofit, has been able to reach and impact over 1,500 children, youth and families through providing innovative educational and community based services free to youth ages 4-21 years including performing arts services, college preparation services, clinical counseling services, tutoring services, and mentoring services.  Youth and parents in NYC have benefited tremendously from the work of I’RAISE Girls & Boys Int’l Corporation. 


Other leadership positions presently held by Ms. Moore include Vice President of the Eastchester Gardens Community Center Board, Founder of the Moore Success Consulting company and a certified SIFI instructor with Columbia University school of Social Work and Nyack College School of Social Work.

Above all, Ms. Moore is an Ordained Minister and Youth Pastor at the Greater Anointing Tabernacle Church under the leadership of Bishop Richard J. Stockton III where she serves faithfully and fervently the youth ages 11-35 since 2014, teaching and preaching the Gospel of Christ and equipping young people with the tools needed to live a victorious and successful Christian life. Ms. Moore is also a worship leader where she serves faithfully ministering through song.  Ms. Moore's undeniable passion and commitment to the youth is demonstrated in her personality, character, work and life.
